Thank you for your purchase of the DN690R, the Entrepreneurs Clock. This page aims to help you get started with your DN690R and answer any questions you may have.

Before you start using your new device, it's important to fully charge
it. This ensures that it operates correctly right from the start. Simply
connect the charger to your device and plug it into a USB outlet.
While it's okay to press the button to check the device’s status, please
let it charge completely and keep an eye on it—don’t leave it charging
unattended. Once it's fully charged, you're all set to enjoy all of its
features!

Accessing the menu on your device is straightforward. To start, simply press and hold any button on the back of the device until you see the main screen display change to "Loading." Once you see this, you can release the button. To navigate through the menu, use the top buttons to scroll up and down. When you want to enter a sub-menu, press the third button. If you need to exit a sub-menu, use the fourth button (the last one from the bottom). This simple setup makes it easy to customize and control your device settings.

*Note: The screen is an e-ink display, due to the nature of such display, please give it time to switch between menus and navigation items -- it take about 1 second between refreshes.

The menu on your device is designed to evolve over time as we continually enhance its features and functionality. We will update this document accordingly to reflect any changes to the menu. As of today, the menu includes the following options:

1. Choose UI: select from four different user interfaces, so you can customize how you interact with your device according to your preferences.
2. Configuration: adjust settings such as time and units to suit your needs.
3. About: information about the firmware and details about our company.

When you first set up your device, please keep in mind that the VOC
(Volatile Organic Compounds) and eCO2 (equivalent CO2) readings might not be fully accurate for the initial 48 hours as the device calibrates. Also, for the best and most accurate readings, our device's algorithm expects
to encounter good quality air at least once every 24 hours. Currently, the device takes VOC measurements every 5 minutes. Looking ahead, we're excited to develop a "fast VOC" mode, which will enable the device to take readings every minute for more immediate data. This feature will be available in a future firmware update. Don’t forget to subscribe to our email list to receive notifications about this update and other important news!

Temperature and humidity readings are taken each time the device wakes up. To ensure the readings are stable and to avoid sudden changes, the algorithm gradually adjusts the reported temperature. This helps provide a more consistent and reliable measurement by smoothing out any rapid fluctuations.

In our product, users can customize their experience with daily motivational quotes, accessible through the menu. Options include "Entrepreneurial" quotes for business inspiration, "Health" quotes for wellness motivation, or both. If both categories are selected, the quotes will alternate randomly throughout the day. Users can also choose to receive no quotes for a simpler interface. This feature allows each user to tailor the motivational content to their personal and professional growth needs.

Additionally, the quotes featured in our product are carefully hand-selected and screened by our team. We employ an internal voting system to choose the best quotes, ensuring that only those that truly resonate with us make it into the product. We value our users' input and are always open to receiving new quote suggestions. Every submission from our consumers is carefully considered by our team. This collaborative approach allows us to continually enrich our quote collection and keep our content meaningful and inspiring for all users.
